First off i apologize for the radio silence, however Emily and I have not been up much for talking.
Lets recap yesterday (36 weeks):
- 3PM - went into the hospital cause we "THOUGHT" she broke her water.
- 4:30PM - turns out she didn't so we were being dischared
- during the discharge process, Emily's water broke...(better in the hospital than my car)
- so it was on....at around 12:30 am, Baby K wasnt doing well so mom and baby were rushed into emergency C Section.
- 1:05 AM - And out she came....all 3lbs 14 oz of her. (yes thats right, we were expecting a 6 pounder)
So where does that leave us and her...
Baby K (Klara Danielle)
- breathing on her own and vitals look good.
- concerns....Yes, plenty...which i am not choosing to list here as it VERY early. so lets just say she will be resident of the Virtua Voorhees NICU for the next several weeks.
- a mess = yes..but dealing as best we can.
- Mom - doing well, recovering from what would be called a routine C Section.
- I apologize for not wanting to talk to anyone but we will soon.
What Baby K needs
PRAYERS.....and lots of 'em.
